I love a good sandwich. I guess maybe it’s because I grew up eating sandwiches every day for lunch. As a result, sandwiches became comfort food for me. I still enjoy a classic cold cut sandwich made with bread, cheese, cold cuts, mayo, or mustard. However, now that I’m older sandwiches that have layers of flavor are my favorite. This Chicken Bacon Ranch Slider recipe meets that criteria. These sliders are full of flavor with rotisserie chicken, melty cheese, creamy ranch, and garlic butter sauce. It is classic comfort food on a bun!
These Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders come together pretty quickly. One of my favorite quick tricks to making meals quickly is to purchase a cooked rotisserie chicken and use it for all types of recipes calling for chicken as one of the ingredients. That is exactly what I used for this recipe to make it super simple and quick. The only cooking you will need to do is to cook the bacon. Now, you can fry your bacon on the stovetop if you like, but I prefer to cook my bacon in the oven. It is so simple, hassle-free, and it makes clean-up a snap.
To cook your bacon in the oven instead of the stovetop, here is what you will need to do. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. If possible, allow the aluminum foil to overhang each edge of the baking sheet (making clean up easier). Place the bacon strips in a single layer on the baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and cook for 14-15 minutes for thinly sliced bacon or 18-20 minutes for thick-sliced bacon. Once the bacon is cooked to the desired crispiness, remove it from the oven and remove bacon from the baking sheet onto a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess grease. Leave foil and grease on the baking sheet until cool. Once bacon grease has cooled and solidified, remove foil and grease from the baking sheet. Clean up complete! Simple!
